2. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible.

* Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the booked service may be charged.
* Failure to attend (No Show): 100% of the booked service may be charged.
Cancellation or rescheduling can be made through your booking confirmation or by contacting us directly. Card details may be securely stored by our booking provider (Fresha) to administer our cancellation policy.
3. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid delaying other clients, and the full appointment fee may still apply.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
4. Coat Condition
Please inform us of any matting when booking.
Heavily matted coats require additional time and care. Where safe and appropriate, additional charges may apply. If matting is severe, clipping the coat short may be necessary in the interests of your dog’s welfare.
5. Fleas & Parasites
If fleas are discovered during grooming:
* A flea treatment and deep-cleaning charge of £15 will be added to your bill.
* This helps protect other dogs visiting the salon.
6. Health & Behaviour
Owners must inform us before the appointment if their dog:
* Has any medical conditions.
* Is elderly.
* Is pregnant.
* Has recently had surgery.
* Has behavioural issues or a history of aggression.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop grooming where it would compromise the welfare of the dog or the safety of our staff.
7. Vaccinations
For the safety of all dogs, we recommend that vaccinations are kept up to date. We also ask owners not to bring dogs showing signs of illness.
8. Accidents & Emergencies
Whilst every care is taken, grooming equipment is sharp and minor nicks can occasionally occur, particularly where coats are matted or dogs move unexpectedly.
In the event of an emergency, we will seek veterinary treatment if we cannot contact you immediately. Any veterinary costs resulting from a pre-existing condition or behaviour may be the responsibility of the owner.
9. Collection
Please collect your dog promptly once notified that grooming has been completed.
Dogs collected significantly later than agreed may incur a supervision charge.
10. Payment
Payment is due upon collection of your dog.
We accept cash and major debit and credit cards.
11. Photography
We may take photographs of your dog before or after grooming for use on our website and social media.
Please let us know before your appointment if you do not wish your dog to be photographed.
12. Personal Belongings
Please remove collars, leads and personal items that you do not wish to leave with your dog during grooming.
13. Liability
While every reasonable care is taken, Boujee Barkers Ltd cannot accept responsibility for illness, injury or loss arising from pre-existing health conditions, undisclosed behavioural issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
14. Changes to these Terms
Boujee Barkers Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
